How to take care of your equipment
Vegetable-tanned leather is a natural, living material. To preserve its suppleness and appearance and ensure its durability, regular care is essential.
Before first use
Apply one or two coats of leather oil. Leave to absorb for 24 hours, then remove any excess with a clean, soft cloth.
Daily maintenance
Clean your equipment regularly with glycerin soap, then apply a nourishing balm to keep the leather supple. Oiling once or twice a year is also recommended, depending on how often you use it and how you store it.
Storage
Store leather in a dry place at moderate temperature, away from moisture and direct sunlight.
